Privacy Policy

MyReefClub (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website myreefclub.com and the MyReefClub mobile application. We are based in Singapore. You can contact us at hello@myreefclub.com.

• Account data: Email address and display name via Clerk (our authentication provider).
• Tank data: Tank name, volume, water type, and any parameters, livestock, or maintenance logs you voluntarily enter.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken — collected in aggregate to improve the product.
• Photos: Images you upload for tanks or livestock listings, stored on Cloudflare R2.
• AI interactions: Messages you send to the Reef Assistant are processed by Anthropic's Claude API and are not stored beyond what is needed to generate a response.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the MyReefClub service.
• To send email reminders you configure in Settings.
• To generate anonymised, aggregated demand signals for local fish stores (LFS) — no individual data is shared with LFS.
• To send a welcome email when you create an account.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• Neon — database hosting (PostgreSQL, Singapore region)
• Cloudflare — CDN, Workers compute, R2 image storage
• Anthropic — AI features (Reef Assistant, scan)
• Resend — transactional email delivery

We retain your account and tank data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Upon deletion:

• Your tanks, parameters, livestock, maintenance logs, and reminders are permanently deleted.
• Photos are removed from Cloudflare R2.
• Analytics events are anonymised (your user ID is removed).
• Enquiries sent to shops are retained as business records but detached from your identity.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email hello@myreefclub.com for any data requests. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR.

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (via Clerk). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

MyReefClub is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of MyReefClub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
